There were many miracles performed in my life. Different in that I did not have to amputate my arm or leg to free myself or fightoff grizzly bears or snakes to stay alive. Many of my miracles helped inspire countless others. I still to this day hear from individuals, either in public who recognize me or I hear from these via email or social media, about how I picked myself up and charged forward that they too could. If, with a fused, rebuilt back could do it, so could they.
This was what inspired my own surgical team, so much so that they wanted to join me on my first long distance run competing.
With The Night That Changed Our Lives, I hope to leave readers with a new perspective on life.
1) Appreciate what you have
2) Don’t take anything for granted—you don’t know when the last time you speak to that person could be
3) God does provide for us even if it is not what you want. We are on His time table.
4) There is no time for hate, only time for getting along and love.
