Where do you find yourself these days? Living freely, or as I have been living my entire adult life, by the seat of your pants.
I have awoken since my accident on most days with a fresh outlook on life. An attitude of fondness for life. I have felt that I have more patience, more love, more perseverance and less hate. Also, trusting my Lord and Savior daily to control my life instead of living with that attitude of “its my life, I can live it as I please.”
Isn’t it more fun to give people around us a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind? God gave you a heart to love with, God gave you the ability to create Heaven on earth, not Hell.
I pray that God opens our eyes before it is too late. Still, our hope is in the Lord. Into His care we give our lives.
Before you waste your days on anger, resentment, spite or envy, think of how precious and irreplaceable your time is today. Positivity always pays!
No matter what happens in life, be good to people. Being good to people is a peaceful way to live, and a beautiful legacy to leave behind.
One of my favorite lines about living our lives daily with more love, less hate comes from Pooh and Piglet. Pooh asks Piglet “what day is it?” and Piglet’s response was “it is today.” Pooh’s comment comes with an enthusiastic “my favorite day.” I would encourage you to wake up like there is no tomorrow, make this day the Lord’s day.
I wanted to share this blog from my Spiritual mentor who happens to be our pastor. This comes from Dr. Furr and his wife Vickie. An excellent piece to read, understand and think about. This is part 1 of 2 that I will post. I would encourage you to read this intently as it has a lot to soak in and think about.
