That time has come, the moment we all have been eagerly anticipating for quite some time. Some have wanted to see history made as this country had seen in 2008 with the first black being elected president and now possibly seeing the first female U.S President while others have waited anxiously to get rid of the typical Washington cronies.
All the talk, rhetoric, back stabbing, blogging, chatting, cursing, and now it is all about pulling that lever. Hopefully, you have spent some time on your knees, head bowed praying for God’s mercy on this country. Sometimes we just seem to forget God’s still in control of everything and that includes who our next president will be. We must remember that every day, God’s Will be done.
I know many of you have done as I have in the past and spent countless hours on the internet–chat rooms/boards, Facebook, Twitter, etc. needlessly sending out messages that was going to the choir and occasionally sneaking into one’s soul that was rooting for the other team. My time for redemption came with my accident and had to be tapped on my shoulder and reminded that there are many other things important in our lives than arguing with one over someone’s careless behavior and conduct-it was just not what I wanted to be a part of any more.
I might be repeating some points from a couple of previous blogs and have added them here just for a refresher course in case you didn’t have the chance to read these. I hope you could take the time to read these and comment on all of them. Share your thoughts; good or bad.
Psalm 46:10
Be still and know that I am GOD ~
After reading this prayer, THANK GOD for listening and trust in HIS WILL to be done.
Say this prayer with me:
Dear Beloved God in Heaven,
Please give us a president who loves this country and everything it stands for. Please give us a president who respects You and loves You as the one true God. Please give us a president who will, with Your help, restore this nation to its former glory, the way You created her.
Please help us to respect what You have given to us and not take anything for granted ever again.
Please God, weaken the evil and strengthen the good, both within and without. May our eyes and hearts of understanding be opened. All glory to God, In Jesus’ name, Amen
?
Never before in the history of this country has this plea been so necessary…..In God We Trust, and we pray that GOD WILL BLESS AMERICA!!!(I am sending this on because we need to pray for all leaders of our country, state, county and cities to guide us in the way God intended …)
The ultimate victory is His. So, keep in mind that trials are fleeting, whereas our Father’s love is forever.
